Is it more important to focus on acquiring new costumers or retaining my already existing ones?
It’s not a choice you need both for success. If it was a requirement to pick one then retaining customers would be the choice. Take care of your customers and they will refer you new clients. Every customer has a life expectancy. The customer could retire, go out of business, file bankruptcy, merge with another business. This is why you constantly need new customers. Attrition plus increasing revenues require continuous marketing to customers, mostly new but also old.
