How can I open a restaurant in 2 months and is this realistic?
If you find a restaurant going out of business you could buy it at a good discount. Then you remodel, re-brand, and build a new operation. Of course you want to conduct a good market research campaign to make sure you understand what the market wants. For marketing and promotions I’d say social media advertising is a good option to increase awareness and capture market share.
There are a number of variables to opening a restaurant. You need a location and you need to know if you will lease or buy the property. Once you determine your location you need to determine if the construction will be quick because it was a former restaurant or has the ability to be laid out with easy construction or if you need to add or knock down walls. You need to determine the suppliers of everything from tables, tablecloths and food suppliers. Certain items may be custom made and take months and some will be available immediately so this will affect the time to open, After location and buildout you will need signage which can take time, you may need to borrow funds which will impact how long to open as well. Some loans can take 6 months or longer to get funded and you may need those funds to open. The type of food served and ambiance will also affect your time to open. A quick serve hamburger restaurant may open quickly whereas a high end restauarant with a world reknowned chef may take a year or more to locate. Employees and training take time too. Permits are another issue too. The health department will need to certify you as well as a certificate of occupancy after buildout. These are some of the issues you will need to address

Hey Razaly,
I think it is possible. It depends on the area that you are talking about. The regulations are different in each state and country. In general though I feel it would normally take five or six months with all the planning and permit processes.
